Basketball Recap: Satanta Takes a Loss

Satanta lost against South Gray back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Satanta Indians had to suffer through a 87-19 loss at the hands of the South Gray Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Rebels are ranked 29th).

Satanta has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for South Gray, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Satanta has already played their next contest, a 43-25 win against Deerfield on the 10th. As for South Gray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-35 victory against Stanton County on the 10th.
