Recap: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Loveland Red Wolves
The Mountain View Mountain Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Loveland by a score of 62-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (56), Mountain View still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Dylan Garland, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Keegan Amans, who scored 11 points.
Trey Olsen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Loveland, scoring 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayne Desouza, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Loveland, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.
Mountain View will challenge Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mountain View has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 360 points over their last six contests. Loveland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northglenn at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Northglenn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
