Softball Recap: Julian Takes a Loss

Julian lost against Warner back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-5.

Julian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Bennett, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and four RBI. Bennett is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in four or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Julian's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Warner, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Coincidentally, Julian and Warner will both be playing Calipatria the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
