Football Game Preview: Carroll County vs. Owen County

Carroll County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Thursday they take on Owen County at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

Carroll County got themselves on the board against Gallatin County two weeks ago, but Gallatin County never followed suit. Carroll County took the game and then some with a 54-0 victory over Gallatin County. Followers of Carroll County probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Owen County didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 6-12 to Gallatin County last Friday.

The last time the two teams met, Carroll County and Owen County were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but Carroll County suffered an agonizing 20-21 loss.
