Basketball Recap: South Hadley Wins Going Away Against Carver

With a playoff win on the line, South Hadley rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Carver Crusaders as they made off with a 55-34 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

South Hadley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. Carver moved to 18-5 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Coming up, South Hadley will head out on the road to challenge Millis at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive. Carver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
