Carmichaels had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Mapletown on Tuesday. Bailey Barnyak made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).
