On Monday, Wayne got the W thanks in part to Jaxon Dill playing the best baseball he has all season. Dill struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 5.6 strikeouts per game. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Wayne is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Dill and Wayne will square off against Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
