Basketball Game Preview: Hanahan Hawks vs. Philip Simmons Iron Horses

Hanahan hasn't had much luck against Philip Simmons recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hanahan Hawks will challenge the Philip Simmons Iron Horses at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hanahan will head into Monday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They lost 61-38 to Bishop England. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered since January 26th.

Meanwhile, Philip Simmons lost to Wando at home by a 70-54 margin on Monday. The Iron Horses were up 21-7 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Philip Simmons' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hanahan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hanahan came up short against Philip Simmons in their previous meeting on Wednesday, falling 50-46. Can Hanahan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
