Baseball Recap: Urbana Comes Up Short

Urbana lost against Jonathan Alder last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hillclimbers lost 16-1 to the Pioneers. The Hillclimbers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Urbana saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Lantz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Urbana's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Jonathan Alder, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Urbana will take on Greeneview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Hillclimbers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jonathan Alder, they will square off against Northwestern at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
