Basketball Recap: Yoakum Takes a Loss

Yoakum lost against Hallettsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yoakum Bulldogs took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hallettsville Brahmas. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Yoakum's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hallettsville, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Yoakum will be home for the holidays to greet Palacios at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallettsville and Edna will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallettsville is facing Edna at the right time seeing as Edna is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
