There's no place like home for Alma Center Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Alma Center Lincoln took Osseo-Fairchild into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 17-25, 15-9.

Alma Center Lincoln found their leader in sophomore Mikaela Wagner, who had 45 digs and three aces.

Alma Center Lincoln was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

Alma Center Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.

As of now, neither Alma Center Lincoln nor Osseo-Fairchild have any future games scheduled.
