Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Cardinals vs. Paris Tigers
Chrisman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Paris Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Monday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.
Sara Staley was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.
Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Paris, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.
Chrisman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Neoga on the 11th. As for Paris, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh on the 11th.
