Basketball Recap: Yukon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grant last Tuesday, Yukon came back down to earth. The Yukon Millers fell just short of the Deer Creek Antlers by a score of 60-57 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Millers have suffered since December 15, 2023.

Yukon now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Deer Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Yukon will take on Southmoore in a holiday battle at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at. Southmoore knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Yukon likes a good challenge. As for Deer Creek, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mustang at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. One thing working in Deer Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
