Volleyball Recap: Chance Reed's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Parkridge Christian over Highlands Christian + How To Watch

After flying high against Abundant Life Christian Academy on Friday, Parkridge Christian came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Highlands Christian Knights on Monday.

Parkridge Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7, 25-18.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chance Reed, who had six digs and two aces. Reed has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Highlands Christian found their leader in sophomore Makenzie Doane, who had ten digs and three aces.

Parkridge Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Highlands Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Parkridge Christian will head out to take on Donna Klein Jewish Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highlands Christian, they will host Abundant Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
