Football Game Preview: Atlantic Sharks vs. University Titans

The Atlantic Sharks will venture away from home to take on the University Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Atlantic nor University posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Atlantic is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-13 heartbreaker at the hands of Mainland.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for University's offense. They fell 7-0 to DeLand on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 119th).

University's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Things could have been worse for Atlantic, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-0 loss to University in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Sharks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
