Valley proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eastern Eagles, sneaking past 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won six contests in a row.

Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Eastern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-5 record this season.
