Soccer Recap: Kennewick Takes a Loss

Kennewick came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Richland Bombers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Kennewick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Richland are ranked 35th).

Kennewick's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Richland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kennewick is set to face off against their familiar foe Hermiston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richland will challenge rival Walla Walla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
