It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pickerington North can now relate to. They fell just short of the Upper Arlington Golden Bears by a score of 30-27 on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Panthers have let down their home crowd.

When it comes to explaining why Pickerington North lost, don't look at Jarin Mock. Despite the final result, he rushed for 81 yards and two scores, and also threw for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 19 passes. Andyriq Thomas helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-2. As for Upper Arlington, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.
