Windham-Ashland-Jewett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milford Central Wildcats. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Milford Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than RJ Lindsay, who posted 14 points. Tanner Greiner was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Windham-Ashland-Jewett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Milford Central, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.
