Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canyon del Oro, Flowing Wells was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Desert View Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Caballeros not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Flowing Wells never let Desert View on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25, 25-20.

Cady Trausch was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five contests.

Flowing Wells' win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Desert View, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Flowing Wells will face off against Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert View, they will square off against Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
