Basketball Recap: Anthony Fleming's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pasco over Rogers

Pasco lost to Rogers back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten points.

Pasco's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Fleming, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Pitzer, who scored eight points and eight rebounds.

Pasco has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Rogers, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Pasco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-38 loss against Kamiakin on the 20th. As for Rogers, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-62 win against Deer Park on the 20th.
