It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Orono ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Central Red Devils 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Orono sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Dominic Madore and Lucas Hiebeler scored both of Orono's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Orono's victory bumped their record up to 11-0-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Orono is set to face off against their familiar foe Washington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central will square off against rival George Stevens Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
