Dinuba waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lemoore Tigers with a sharp 10-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Emperors, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Neveah Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dinuba let Olivia Patterson and Kiley Gomez run wild. Patterson got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Gomez went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Patterson has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Santos, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Dinuba's win bumped their record up to 16-4-1. As for Lemoore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7-1 record this season.

Dinuba will square off against Tulare Union at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Emperors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tribe have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Lemoore, they will face off against Tulare Western at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.65 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
