On Monday, the Union County Yellowjackets were able to grind out a solid victory over the Greer Middle College Blazers, taking the game 60-52.

Union County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akeem Shaw, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. Those 14 points gave Shaw a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eric Gray, who went 11 for 19 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds.
