Round Rock Christian Academy had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Round Rock Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 24-26, 25-22, 25-16.

Leading Round Rock Christian Academy to victory were Lauren Woodard and Brylie Turner. Woodard had five digs and three aces, while Turner had nine digs and three assists. The dominant performance also gave Woodard a new career-high in assists (16).

They weren't the only good server: Round Rock Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They are 9-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Round Rock Christian Academy's record is now 15-9. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they dropped their record down to 12-8-1 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
