Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost against Elk Lake on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 18-1 to the Warriors. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mountain View's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Elk Lake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Mountain View will challenge Carbondale Area at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Elk Lake, they will take on Montrose at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Meteors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
