Cheyenne is a perfect 6-0 against Desert Pines since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Desert Shields will look to defend their home court against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Cheyenne is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Cheyenne came up short against Bonanza and fell 3-1. While the Desert Shields didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bengals 25-19 in the first set.

Cheyenne started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Desert Pines lost 3-0 to Cimarron-Memorial on Monday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-19.

Desert Pines' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cheyenne, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything went Cheyenne's way against Desert Pines in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as Cheyenne made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Desert Shields have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
