Cobleskill-Richmondville had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks by a score of 5-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Olivia Abdelrahim was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Dolmas, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Cobleskill-Richmondville pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Fonda-Fultonville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cobleskill-Richmondville will challenge Mayfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fonda-Fultonville, they will take on Johnstown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
