Softball Recap: Henryville Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Henryville never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Paoli Rams 11-0. Considering the Hornets have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gabby Comer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allie McAfee, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Henryville's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Paoli, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Henryville will head out to take on Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paoli, they will host Crawford County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
