There's no place like home for Hinsdale Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Caitlin Doherty as she scored three goals for her team.

Hinsdale Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven contests. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinsdale Central will be taking part in a tournament against New Trier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they will venture away from home to take on Benet Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
