Belleview Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Harjas Thiara, who had nine digs and three aces, and Anessa Schanke, who had 12 digs and three aces. Brittanee Howard also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Meanwhile, Two Roads Charter School didn't have quite enough to beat Golden View Classical Academy on Monday and fell 3-2. The Falcons have struggled against the Sentinels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Two Roads Charter School took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 26-24, 16-25, 25-11, 15-2.
Belleview Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Two Roads Charter School, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 7-5.
Belleview Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Two Roads Charter School when the teams last played back in September of 2021, winning 2-0. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
