Softball Recap: Rantoul Comes Up Short

Rantoul fell victim to St. Thomas More and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 1-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sabers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Rantoul's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for St. Thomas More, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rantoul will welcome Maroa-Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Thomas More, they will be playing at home against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
