Softball Recap: Russellville Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

While Russellville's victory against Monroe County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Falcons 9-7. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Russellville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Monroe County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Russellville will square off against Logan County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe County, they will head out to take on Edmonson County on Saturday.
