Basketball Preview: Frankton Eagles vs. Elwood Panthers

Frankton had a senior duo take command as Emma Key dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 assists and Ann Curtis almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Curtis a new career-high in points. Macy Curtis was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points.
Frankton was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Elwood entered their tilt with Liberty Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Lions 47-22. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Elwood's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Frankton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
