Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maryville, South Harrison was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Maysville Wolverines by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win last Saturday.

South Harrison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Ella Estes paced South Harrison's offense, picking up 20 kills. Estes got some help from Ava Shields and her 21 assists. Estes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Harrison's win bumped their record up to 9-13-2. As for Maysville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

As of now, neither South Harrison nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
