Volleyball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Southeast lost against Rootstown back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Rovers, falling 3-0.

While Southeast had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rootstown, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Newton Falls on the 20th. As for Rootstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Trinity on the 21st.
