Recap: Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs vs. Millbrook Wildcats
The Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 36-24 to Millbrook.
Millbrook was led to victory by Maika Jones and Lauren Brown. Jones scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Brown scored 13 points. Jones continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maggie Krynock, who scored six points.
Durham School of the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Millbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.
Durham School of the Arts' road trip will continue as they head out to face North Raleigh Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. North Raleigh Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Durham School of the Arts in North Carolina (North Raleigh Christian Academy is ranked 243rd, while Durham School of the Arts is ranked 503rd). Millbrook and Hillside will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
