Woodridge is 0-7 against Norton since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.
Woodridge fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Streetsboro on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 4-3.

Woodridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Johnson, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Claire Gregory was another, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norton). They put the hurt on Cloverleaf with a sharp 19-1 victory on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Tatum Harris was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Harris was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Chloe Womble was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Dakota Graham, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Norton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
Norton's record now sits at 6-7-1. As for Woodridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
Woodridge suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Norton in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
