Recap: Eagleville Eagles vs. Moore County Raiders
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Eagleville Eagles can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Moore County on Friday, falling 35-0. Eagleville's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Dawson White, who threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Logan Hegwood was another key contributor, rushing for 97 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Eagleville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Moore County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Eagleville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Moore County will be playing at home against McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McKenzie is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
