Baseball Recap: Piscataway Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Piscataway Vo-Tech's offense. They fell 4-0 to the J.P. Stevens Hawks on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Piscataway Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for J.P. Stevens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Piscataway Vo-Tech is taking a road trip to square off against Dunellen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Destroyers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season. As for J.P. Stevens, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-5 loss against Woodbridge on the 17th.
