Volleyball Recap: Springer Red Devils vs. Cimarron Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roy/Mosquero, Springer was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Cimarron Rams 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in October.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Springer was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.
Olivia Burton paced Springer's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burton were helped by
Kayley Caldwell and
Esperanza Tafoya, who contributed 11 assists each.
Kyanna Rodriguez controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
