Recap: Torrey Pines Falcons vs. La Costa Canyon Mavericks
The Torrey Pines Falcons won the last time they faced the La Costa Canyon Mavericks, and things went their way on Friday too. Torrey Pines snuck past La Costa Canyon with a 45-40 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Torrey Pines.
Matin Madadkar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds. Cody Shen was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Torrey Pines' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for La Costa Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.
Torrey Pines does not have any more games scheduled as of now. La Costa Canyon also has no future games currently scheduled.
