Dallastown is 9-1 against Northeastern since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Dallastown Wildcats challenge Northeastern Bobcats at 4:15 p.m. Dallastown will be strutting in after a win while Northeastern will be coming in after a defeat.

Dallastown took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past South Western 4-3.

Austin Santiago looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Logan Kessler and Caden Snyder did most of the damage at the plate: Kessler scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Snyder scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Snyder posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Peyton Flincbaugh, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Meanwhile, Northeastern came up short against Lower Dauphin on Thursday and fell 4-1.

Northeastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Neri, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Dallastown's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Northeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Dallastown skirted past Northeastern 3-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dallastown since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
