Volleyball Recap: Redding Christian Gets the Win

Redding Christian won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cubs.

Redding Christian easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14.

Bella Lemmer paced Redding Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Lemmer got some help from Kamalia Mizuta and her 15 assists. Weslynn Skinner and Audrey Mini kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Redding Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-3. As for Anderson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Redding Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fall River on the 6th. Hopefully Anderson paid attention to the Lions' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
