St. Thomas Aquinas and Suncoast squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. Thomas Aquinas had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.

John Virginio paced St. Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up nine kills. Virginio got some help from Elijah Lam and his 26 assists. Finally, Kamaal Medina and Charles Campbell kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Suncoast, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1.

St. Thomas Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Suncoast, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lake Howell on the 16th.
