Basketball Recap: Miami Takes a Loss

Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 76-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Globe Tigers. The Vandals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 70-46.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Globe, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Miami won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Glendale Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Globe, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Globe Tigers challenge the Benson Bobcats at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Globe is facing Benson at the right time seeing as Benson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
