Basketball Recap: Jacksboro's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Jacksboro lost against Holliday back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jacksboro Tigers took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holliday Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Jacksboro still got an impressive performance from Hayden Walker, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds. The matchup was Walker's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Jacksboro's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9. As for Holliday, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jacksboro Tigers take on the Vernon Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holliday, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against City View at 6:00 p.m. City View has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
