Football Game Preview: Bethpage Golden Eagles vs. Mineola Mustangs

The Bethpage Golden Eagles will challenge the Mineola Mustangs on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bethpage is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Wantagh on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Warriors, falling 35-12. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Mineola had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of Manhasset. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

Mineola's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bethpage, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
