Softball Recap: Burton Adventist Academy Angels vs. Joshua Christian Knights
Burton Adventist Academy scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against the Joshua Christian Knights by a score of 17-13. Winning may never get old, but Burton Adventist Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Giselle Herman was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Murray, who went 2-for-2 with a home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
Burton Adventist Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Joshua Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Burton Adventist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christian Life Preparatory at 4:15 p.m. on April 22nd. Joshua Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
