Millard South and Papillion-LaVista played the most hotly contested game in A District 3 this week, with Millard South eventually emerging with a 30-27 victory.
Benson's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. JAYDEN SWENSEN threw for 98 and one touchdown and ADAM IVERSON had 48 yards receiving. On the ground SWENSEN chipped in 80 yards. Keondrea Love helped Benson's passing attack out by catching three balls for 33 yards.
Benson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bunnies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. SWENSEN has thrown for 851 yards and four touchdowns this season, while TYREE PETER has 16 catches for 217 yards. JAVONTE GREEN leads the league in rushing with 213 yards.
Omaha South made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,156 from 10,909. The improvement came about via a 32-6 victory over the Bunnies last week.
